Cubism Art, used mostly from the start of the 1900s, is art which depicted the use of
geometric shapes of natural forms, and focused on an objects formal structure.
Cubism art is considered to be one of the most influential art movement of the
20th century. Artists such as Pablo Picasso practiced this form of art, in which is
seen all around the world. An art movement such as cubism stands as a revolution
for the art culture. Other artists of this time include Marcel Duchamp and Georges
Braque.

This painting by Pablo Picasso was analytic cubism. This form of cubism was formed
by Picasso and Georges Braque from 1908 - 1911. The main color scheme of this
painting was browns and other muddy colors (monochromatic color). In Cubist
paintings, objects are broken apart and reassembled in an abstracted form,
highlighting their composite geometric shapes and depicting them from multiple, simultaneous viewpoints in
order to create physics-defying, collage-like effects.
