The Chauvet cave paintings appear to be made in two separate time periods the
first ranging from 30,000 to 32,000 B.C. the next 25,000 to 27,000. These dates
were determined by radiocarbon testing’s. The cave painting showed
everyday life depicted in red or black with some engravings. For obvious
reasons none of these artist were identified . They used parts of handprints and stencils to
make red dots.
